At RECOF Corporation, we fully recognize the social importance of all personal information we handle, and we will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related regulations and the Privacy Policy we have adopted as provided herein.

  1. Collection of Personal Information
    We will collect personal information only through legitimate and fair means.
  2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information
    We will use personal information only for the following purposes:

    (1) Providing our services including M&A intermediary and advisory services, consulting services and other services, and making communications related to the services;
    (2) Providing various information regarding the merchandises or services which RECOF Corporation or RECOF Data Corporation provides and other communications related to such provision of information (notifications, communications), and sending greetings such as season’s greetings;
    (3) Sending invitations to seminars and lectures to be organized by us;
    (4) Internal researches, studies and production of materials;
    (5) Recruitment, internship programs and personnel management after employment;
    (6) Responding to various inquiries and contacts; and
    (7) Appropriately performing other services incidental to any of the above purposes.

    We will not use personal information we collect outside the scope of purposes stated above without the consent of the individual concerned, except when required by law or when such other purpose of use is separately notified or announced.
  3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
    We will not provide personal information we collect to any third party without the consent of the individual concerned, except when required by law.
  4. Outsourcing of the Handling of Personal Information
    We may from time to time outsource the handling of personal information to a third party to the extent necessary to fulfill the purpose of use of the information. In such cases, we will impose non-disclosure obligations on the outsourcee and supervise the outsourcee appropriately.

    We will designate personnel(s) in charge of handling personal information, and implement safety measures to ensure and improve security in order to prevent illegal access to personal information, loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, etc. of personal information.
  6. Requests for Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Provision to Third Parties of Personal Information
    Subject to verification of the identity of the individual, we will respond appropriately to requests by the individual concerned for disclosure of his or her personal information, correction, addition or deletion of its contents, suspension of use, suspension of provision to third parties, etc.

  8. Adoption of and Compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Compliance Program
    We will adopt the Personal Information Protection and Compliance Program (a management system which includes policies, organizations, implementation of plans, inspection and reviews regarding the protection of personal information) and comply with such program by making our directors and employees aware of the program.
  9. Continuous Improvement of the Personal Information Protection and Compliance Program
    We will continuously review and improve the Personal Information Protection and Compliance Program. We may change this Privacy Policy as necessary.
