Mr. Masataka “Sam” Yoshida (“Sam”) has a total of more than 35 year experience in the M&A advisory businesses. Before joining RECOF, Sam worked for The Sumitomo Bank, Limited (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) for 12 years where he had 8 years (of which he spent 4 years in London) of experience in the M&A advisory department. Sam originated and advised more than 60 transactions during his tenure of 20 years at RECOF as one of RECOF’s “from early-stage” core members.

Tamotsu Majima
Mr. Tamotsu Majima has been involved in cross-border M&A transactions for over 20 years. His experience includes both inbound deals (with clients including French, German, and US companies) and outbound deals (in US, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, etc.). Before joining RECOF in 1998, Mr. Majima has been engaged in securities analysis for non-Japanese institutional investors and financing for non-Japanese companies and public entities at Yamaichi Securities Co., Ltd. in Japan.

Mr. Yoshihiko Nakagawara joined RECOF in 2006. He has been involved in administration of deal sourcing and Vietnam business development. He is also in charge of client service and M&A seminar by RECOF, providing consultation for over 100 inquiries from clients per year. Prior to joining RECOF in 2006, he was managing over 30 M&A deals at NISSAN MOTOR CO.,LTD.. He also engaged in IPO of ZERO Co., Ltd.(a logistics company in Japan). He has expertise in sectors such as automobile, automotive component, logistics and water processing system. Master of Tokyo University of Science. Qualified for CIA (Certified Internal Auditor).

Mr. Mikiya Sato joined RECOF in 2023 and is involved in M&A execution service. Prior to joining RECOF, he worked for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC and was engaged in audit service for listed and unlisted companies including global companies under IFRS and advisory service of accounting, internal control and management operations, etc.
He has experience in working as an engagement manager for a listed company in Japan and working at Deloitte UK London office for 2 years.
Qualified for CPA (Certificated Public Accountant).

Mr. Takeshi Komura joined RECOF in 2023 and is involved in cross-border M&A transactions. Prior to joining RECOF, he worked for Okasan Securities Co.,Ltd. since 2017 and was engaged in the institutional sales of Asian equities, collaborated with non-Japanese financial institutions to promote cross-border businesses, and supported IPO transactions of Japanese companies.
