Mr. Masataka “Sam” Yoshida (“Sam”) has a total of more than 30 year experience in the M&A advisory businesses. Before joining RECOF, Sam worked for The Sumitomo Bank, Limited (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) for 12 years where he had 8 years (of which he spent 4 years in London) of experience in the M&A advisory department. Sam originated and advised more than 70 transactions during his tenure of 20 years at RECOF as one of RECOF’s “from early-stage” core members.
Mr. Tamotsu Majima has been involved in cross-border M&A transactions for over 20 years. His experience includes both inbound deals (with clients including French, German, and US companies) and outbound deals (in US, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, etc.). Before joining RECOF in 1998, Mr. Majima has been engaged in securities analysis for non-Japanese institutional investors and financing for non-Japanese companies and public entities at Yamaichi Securities Co., Ltd. in Japan.
Mr. Yoshihiko Nakagawara joined RECOF in 2006. He has been involved in administration of deal sourcing and Vietnam business development. He is also in charge of client service and M&A seminar by RECOF, providing consultation for over 100 inquiries from clients per year. Prior to joining RECOF in 2006, he was managing over 30 M&A deals at NISSAN MOTOR CO.,LTD.. He also engaged in IPO of ZERO Co., Ltd.(a logistics company in Japan). He has expertise in sectors such as automobile, automotive component, logistics and water processing system. Master of Tokyo University of Science. Qualified for CIA (Certified Internal Auditor).
Mr. Tran Hoai Vu is involved in M&A execution service at RECOF Before joining RECOF in 2008, he worked for Foreign Trade University and Vietnam Japan Human Resources Center (VJCC) in Hanoi, former Chairman of Vietnamese Student Association in Japan. Bachelor of Foreign Trade University in Hanoi. Master degree and PhD candidate of Waseda University in Tokyo.
Mr. Toru Sakurada is involved in M&A execution service at RECOF. Prior to joining RECOF, he has been engaged in corporate coverage at Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. in Japan for 3 years. He has experienced in M&A business, IPO, and securitization. Qualified for US Certificated Public Accountant (US CPA).
Mr. Masayuki Masuda is involved in M&A execution service at RECOF. Prior to joining RECOF, he worked at The Yomiuri Shinbun (a major newspaper company in Japan) as a staff writer. He also engaged in advisory service related to business strategies and implementation support at YAMADA Business Consulting Co., Ltd. (a management consuting firm in Japan).
Mr. Naotada Akamine is involved in M&A execution service at RECOF. Prior to joining RECOF, he worked at ITOCHU Corporation (a major trading and investment house) in Japan for 5 years and engaged in the investments in new businesses at Metals & Minerals Division.
Mr. Daisuke Shimizu is involved in cross-border M&A transactions at RECOF. Prior to joining RECOF, he worked at Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. in Japan for 6 years and AIBJ Inc (an investment bank in Japan) for 1 year. His experience includes both retail securities business and domestic M&A advisory. He advised a Japanese long-term-nursing care facilities company to sell the shares to a private equity fund in Japan at previous job.

Mr. Kazuto Hitomi is involved in cross-border M&A at RECOF. Prior to joining RECOF, he worked at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd. in Japan.

Ms. To Thi Thu is now involved in cross-border M&A at RECOF. She has been involved in financial advisory services for Vietnamese and multinational companies for more than 10 years. She has expertise in various industries such as Hospitality, Oil & Gas, Education, Healthcare, Food and Beverage, Retail, Information Technology/Media, Garment and textile, Real estate and Financial services. Prior to joining RECOF, Thu worked at Leadvisors Capital Management (an investment bank in Vietnam), Grant Thornton (Vietnam) Limited (a major acounting firm), and Tan Viet Securities Inc. (a securities company in Vietnam).
In the major accounting firm where she worked for 10 years, she served as Director in Advisory Services and took a leading role in Financial Due Diligence (financial review and analysis), Business Valuation, Financial Modeling and Strategic Business Planning as well as other M&A services. Ms. Tran Huynh Nha Vy is now involved in the cross-border M&A at RECOF. She has more than four years of experience in finance and investment. Prior to joining RECOF, she worked at The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Mizuho Bank, Ltd. and Hoa Sen Group (a real-estate company of a major steel group in Vietnam). Masters degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom).
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Van is now involved in the cross-border M&A at RECOF. Prinor to joining RECOF, she worked at Dai Dong Tien Corporation (a resin processing manufacturer in Vietnam). Certificate Japanese-Language Proficiency N3.
